In a full liquid cooling loop, the cold plate is only part of the thermal solution. For large-scale server deployments, the supply and return liquid piping system (secondary-side loop) plays a crucial role in ensuring effective coolant distribution. This system includes manifolds for distributing cooling fluid between servers, flexible hoses, and quick-connect fittings to link manifolds and cold plates, as well as loop piping between CDUs and each server cabinet.

Hose Connections: Soft tubing between manifolds and cold plates using 1/4″–3/8″ flexible PTFE or EPDM hoses.
Quick Disconnect Fittings: Blind-mate or plug-in connectors such as UQD04S/P and UQD06S/P, made of stainless steel (SUS304/SUS316/SUS316L).
